BORPower® at The ARCTIC RALLY, Finland, 2009BORPower® was applied on the Subaru Impreza WRX Sti, driver Kai Ahola, co-driver Lasse Miettinen. They finished 3rd in the Group A (4-wheel driven turbo cars) and they drove one Special Stage best time.Ahola/Miettinen team were competing in the Group A, which includes WRC-cars. They applied BORPower® to the Engine of the Subaru Impreza WRX Sti. They have noticed that after approximately 60km of Special Stages, thanks to BORPower®, the fuel consumption of the car went down from the normal 3.53-4.03 mpg to about 5.65-7.06 mpg. This achieved fuel saving came as a happy surprise to the team particularly that the fuel used in this competition costs about 4 €/Litre, so the money saving was really important. Because of this reduction in mpg figure, the amount of fuel needed between services or refuels became lower, which provided a lighter car hence a better performance. Coupled with more efficient engine , the team has also observed a reduction in the engine and oil temperature by about 10% ! The general position of the team in their group was 3rd.

IRTE/BTAC/CILT Fuel Economy Conference, Gaydon, Sept-09 Nanoboron attended the vehicle fuel economy conference the IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers), BTAC (British Transport Advisory Consortium), and CILT (The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) jointly hostet at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, on the 22nd of September 2009 and have exhibited during the conference day. The speakers included engine manufacturers, scientists, and major operators. IRTE Cornwall First 2009 Winter Talk, Cornwall, Oct-2009– NanoBoron has replied favourably to the invitation from the Institute of Road Transport Engineers (IRTE), Cornwall section for giving a talk to their members. In this current recession, many members are stating that customers are seeking ways of prolonging the longevity of engines, transmissions and any automotive component. To this end these members have asked the institute about suitable additives that may satisfy this need and enlist the help of the manufacturer / supplier to deliver a presentation to their members on this subject and explain the benefits of that product. On Thursday 15th October, we were the first guest speaker of the IRTE Cornwall winter lecture programme. This talk aimed to fulfil the needs of members in keeping them up to date with modern techniques and continuous professional development. The venue was The Lowenac Hotel, Camborne. The attendees all come from engineering backgrounds; some are fleet operators, owner operators, garage proprietors, technicians, and MOT testers. The talk title was "Cost Effective Additives And Their Contribution to Extending Vehicle Life Profitability" and was jointly presented by Roger Dennis and Mounir Adjrad. Roger Denniss started the talk by a 20 minute presentation covering the different ways operators and individuals would be able to keep their vehicles running longer, and was followed by Mounir Adjrad presenting for 20 minutes BORPower® products and the different trials performed. The talks were followed by a question/ answer session [ask for Presentations].
